I loved meeting Razan and her family. Razan’s parents were forced to
flee their home in Syria when Razan and her twin brother Yazan were just
4 months old. That was 8 years ago and they’ve been existing on the
bare minimum ever since. There are over 25 million people in the world
who have been uprooted from their homes. Refugees are just people like
you and me whose lives were interrupted by war, persecution and
violence. They just want to go back home.
